So why haven't you heard of us? We thought our money was better spent on producing great courses with great results, instead of great advertising!
"Almost everyone at school is taking
those other courses. One started this past week, and this is the first real week
most people have dedicated to bar studying. A friend was asking me about
Celebration Bar Exam Review and what is expected for my assignments, etc. She
looked at me like I had three heads...she couldn't believe we had to read,
listen to a lecture AND then do questions. All she is assigned are 50
questions, then the next day they go over it (a little backwards, eh?). She
said she wanted to do the Celebration course but decided to stick with the
masses. Now she regrets her choice.
Coincidently, we ran into another law student graduate, and they started talking
about the other course as well. The student decided she wasn't going to class
today because it wasn't worth it, and she is better off on her own. That's
cool. But wait, the best is yet to come. She then proceeds to say, "All the
bar exam is, is about luck. It all depends if you are a lucky person or not. I
mean, they don't even read your essays--don't kid yourself. You think they have
the time to read them all. No, they don't. If you do well on Multiple Choice
they don't bother to read the essays." Wow. That is all I could think, wow. I
just sat back and smiled. I didn't realize that our bar exam was equivalent to
playing the lottery, and that racking up a $160,000 student loan debt was
worthless...wow. I am just amazed that people actually believe their faulty
logic.
As a result, I am glad I had this encounter. It made me realize that I am doing
well where I am at. I have a great game plan!" July 2006 Florida Student
