Video Recap of Feb 2008 Florida Bar Results

I am so very pleased to share with you that, 11 years after law school graduation and with no professional contact with the law since then, I have passed the Florida bar exam on the 1st try! I sincerely could not have done it without your course. With 3 young children and a family-owned business, I knew I couldn't make a 3-hour daily round trip to a megacourse lecture. And after such a long absence from the law, the idea of a regular home-study course felt too isolated. So when I found the Celebration Bar Review and your mentoring option, along with the Personal Study Guide to keep me on track, taking & passing the bar finally seemed like a plausible option. I followed your recipe, and it worked!!

May God continue to guide you as His instrument in aiding others in need. You have been a blessing to me and my family."

"I PASSED BABY!!!!! WOOOOHOOOO
Thank you so much for helping me through this process. Your study materials were amazingly helpful and the essay workshops were invaluable. You will definitely be hearing from me sometime soon when I begin studying for the NY bar.
Thanks so much!"

"Good News! I passed the Florida Bar Exam! I couldn't have don't it without
Celebration Bar Review. Thank you so much!!!!" K.Barney Passed Feb 2008

"The Florida results came today and  Bingo!  Part A, 139; Part B, 138.  Also, the MPRE released Friday revealed a scaled score of 85…Thank you for your help.  You made the difference!" A.V. Passed

"Thank you so much for everything.  You've put together a great program!"

"When I was getting ready to take the bar, I was caring for a terminally ill relative, got the flu, and learned the hard way that I was allergic to a bunch of different types of flu medications.  To say that I was a walking disaster would be kind of like saying the desert's a trifle dry.  Celebration Bar Exam Review is a well-designed course that helps real people with real lives get what they need to face (and pass!) the most miserable, horrible, no good, very bad test in the whole wide world.  Jackson is a truly gifted teacher and mentor.  I'd recommend the mentored program to anyone.  You CAN beat this test- you owe it to yourself to get the right kind of help!"

"Thank you for helping me pass the Florida bar exam.  I took the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Bar Exams in July 1985.  When my firm asked me to take the February 2006 Florida Exam I agreed even though I had no idea how I would find the time to study.  Fortunately I found your web site and gave you a call.  You assured me that even though I was getting a late start, had a busy law practice, a wife and two young kids you could put me in a position to pass the exam.  You kept your end of the bargain.  You were right on in recommending your iPod version of the course.  I was able to listen to the lectures during my daily commute, doing chores around the house and while working out.  Your Personal Study Guide put me on track and gave me a goal oriented plan to follow.  Both the lectures and the material were easy to follow and understand.  I enjoyed your frequent email pep talks and pointers.  What most impressed me was how quickly you responded to my occasional panic emails and acted quickly to update the material.  There is no doubt that with out this program I would not have been prepared for this exam.  I would gladly recommend this course to any current lawyer who has decided to venture into Florida.  It was worth the investment."

"When I decided to look into taking the Florida bar exam, I was not certain whether I would be able to pull it off.  I had graduated from law school in New York 15 years earlier, had left the field of law soon afterward, and was a single mom working full-time in another field where requesting three (or more) months off to go study or attending nightly classes for several months was not a possibility.  Then I found Celebration Bar Exam Review on the internet, and I couldn't be happier with my discovery and choice.

As other Celebration Bar Review students have repeatedly said, this course offers everything any bar taker would need to pass the bar:  flexibility in scheduling and formats; a proven study plan that is easy and possible to follow in real life; readings and lectures that cover all tested material comprehensively without getting bogged down in extraneous details (making it possible for even people like me who had so much new and forgotten material to learn/relearn to get through it all); practice tests in different formats testing all the skills needed to pass the real test; insight into how the tests work and what the examiners are seeking in passing answers; and an unbelievable amount of support and encouragement in the form of e-mails, broadcasts, and personal attention.

For me, the mentoring option was a lifesaver and was responsible for my passing the bar.  I was very apprehensive about taking the exam, as I tend to "choke" on tests when the stakes are high.  Also, the Celebration Bar Review essay technique, while incredibly successful when properly applied and intuitive in so many ways, did not come naturally to me.  Thus, I presented a tremendous challenge and am certain I would have absolutely floundered in a normal, impersonal bar review course.  However, Jackson's honest feedback let me know what I needed to do to improve my essays, and his gentle-but-firm support helped me get to the point where I could actually put it into practice.  He helped me hone in on the areas on the other parts of the test where I needed work and adapt my studying to time pressures when they came up.  Frankly, I'm sure I was an absolute nightmare, but he never gave up on me, and I am incredibly grateful.

With the help of Jackson, Sara, and Celebration Bar Review, I, too, have become a member of the Florida bar.  Thank you!!!"
Kimberley Spire-Oh, Passed July 2006

"Celebration Bar Review is truly a blessing and helped me to pass the Florida Bar Exam!! When I first began the program, I made a promise to myself to be totally committed and to trust and have faith that through this program, God will bring me through the Bar Exam. When I started getting all of Jackson's emails full of encouragement and when I saw that he was always available to help over the telephone, I knew that if he could be totally committed to my success, then so could I to this program. I can honestly say that the way Jackson teaches how to write the essays and how to study works! You just have to trust in him and his method and trust in God! While this was not my first time taking the Bar, I have realized that anything in life worth having is worth persevering for. Thank you Jackson for all of your prayers and all of your help. Thank you for keeping me focused and helping me to truly believe that I could pass this Bar Exam. This test is not impossible and Jackson will help you to believe that if you just stay committed and believe in yourself."
Yohance Pettis, Passed Feb 2006

I wanted to thank you so much for the excellent review you gave to me to prepare for the Florida Bar.  Even though I have been in practice in Ohio for over 20 years, I was not prepared for the difficulty of that bar exam.  Without your direct support, I never would have passed the essay section.   It was very scary to take that bar and was very hard for me with all the events that were taking place in my life at the time.  Your e-mails and personal words of encouragement helped me pull my self up by my "boot straps" and keep going."
Carol Alesch-Scholl Passed Feb 2006

I am a third time Florida bar taker, and I passed with Celebration Bar Exam Review!  Celebration Bar Review is a more comprehensive, in-depth course than PMBR or Barbri.  The lectures on tape allow you to listen on your own time and fine tune weak areas.  Their detailed study schedule and review tactics are excellent and keep you right on track.  The email and phone support allow you to have personal tutoring along the way.  Thanks Celebration!"

"I have no doubt in my mind that the reason I passed the bar was due to your course.  Everything about the course is wonderful – from the materials to your unconditional guidance and support.  Even after the course ends, and the bar passes, you are still interested in your students.  I will never forget my conversation with you when I called you to tell you that I had passed the bar.  You were the first person I called.  As I see my friends from law school continue to fail the bar, I find myself feeling so lucky and privileged to have taken Celebration.  I feel that without the course, my friends’ fate could have been mine. Furthermore, your course did not only help me pass the bar, but has helped me in my job.  When I first interviewed for my position, I remember telling one of the senior partner about your course, explaining to him that it was the reason I passed the Florida portion of the bar.  He was truly impressed with the program.  I have to tell you that I have implemented the writing skills you taught me into my writing at work.  I receive complements from the senior partners on my writing skills regularly, and I owe that in part to you.  Thank you for everything you did for me.  I can honestly say that I will never forget you, and I will continue to recommend you to everyone who needs help with the bar every chance that I get.  I feel that it’s the least I could do for you, after you did so much for me." Martha Esperon, Passed July 2005

I am very happy to report I PASSED the Florida bar exam.  As you may recall, this was my third attempt at taking this exam and I attribute my passing to your first-class, high-quality personal study program.  I completed your program using the matrix and timeline you suggested.  Yes, I took  the other popular bar review courses for my first and second attempts and then someone said to me that the CELEBRATION course is top-notch.  Already in debt to my ears, what did I have to lose?  I signed up and put my nose to the grind stone and  I passed! :)

Thank you Celebration Bar Review for giving me the one-on-one mentoring that I needed to successfully pass the Florida Bar the first time around." Celebration Bar Review also gave me the freedom to tailor my study schedule to fit my individual needs. I managed to work full-time while studying for the bar. Celebration Bar Review absolutely works!"
Darnelle Toth, Passed July 2005 Florida Bar Exam

"I guess the subject line says it all.
Thanks Jackson for all your help and coaching. Was confident going into it, confident taking it, and confident I passed.
The structure and discipline of your course, and your coaching, gave me that confidence.  Your course FORCES people to work but they work smarter, not harder.  It is a highly intelligent way to study for the bar exam.  I would highly recommend your course to anyone (in fact, I have highly recommended it to a number of people already).
Just to refresh your memory, I'm a 47-year old guy who last took a bar exam in July 1987 (and swore he would never do it again - hah!) Not only that, but I have been a JAG since then and have NOT worked regularly any of the civilian areas that are tested, except evidence and crim law to some extent, and some wills (for legal assistance clients).  So all that torts, contracts, con law, etc. had to be re-learned from scratch, for all practical purposes.
Well, thanks again and feel free to quote this email or any others to anyone you want, I'm a fan!
Grant McLoone, Major, USAF

I would like to personally thank you, Jackson, for all your tireless efforts, your inspirational messages and for your personal telephone calls.  It made the difference for me and now I can put "ESQ." at the end of my name.  Thank you Sara, for all you do for the course.  Without it, I would be looking forward to another crack at it in Tampa in July.  Thank you, thank you, thank you.
CELEBRATION BAR REVIEW IS, NO DOUBT, NUMBER 1
Linda Russell, Passed Feb 2005 FL Exam

"I just wanted to thank you for your help in PASSING the bar exam.  The essay practices using your technique made the exam much simpler to write and your recommendations on how to use our time during the essay portion of the exam was extremely useful.  I was able to complete the exam with plenty of time.  It was also very helpful to understand that it is simplicity that the examiners are looking for and not the complexities that I thought were necessary.  Again thank you for giving me the tools for writing and passing the exam."

 A million thanks,

"I finally passed!! Thank you for giving me the strength, insight and confidence in myself to get through the Florida bar exam.  I cannot thank you enough for such a wonderful program.  Everything from your study schedule, your "on the money" emails and your calming voice gave me the ability to reach my goal.  You ROCK!!!  Now I can finally take my next step in life."

"As a sole practitioner in upstate New York with 21 years in since my last bar exam, I found Celebration Bar Review very convenient and helpful in preparing for the Bar Exam.  I was able to fit the online course into my schedule and the materials were available anywhere I was with my laptop and a high speed connection.  (It just happened that my schedule for the study period included stays in Virginia and Florida).  Jackson's mentoring certainly helped my approach to the essays.  The important part is that I passed with lots of room to spare.  I just noticed the I-Pod option is available.  That looks like a real winner for those students that are on the go."

I passed...Appreciate the great study material and the weekly emails.  At first I just deleted your emails without reading them, but as the test got closer, I looked forward to your encouraging words.  :-)
This was my third bar exam in 8 years....I've used three different bar review courses and yours was without a doubt the best, most focused, one."

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I passed!!!! Your course was worth every penny." Sandi Younger Passed July 2004 FL Exam

"I passed the July 2004 Florida bar exam.  I am a practicing attorney in Arkansas and I knew I needed a bar review course that could be tailored to fit my schedule.   I highly recommend Jackson's mentored course.  I was very impressed with his personal study guide that will walk you through every subject tested in a way to help you learn and retain the information you need to pass the course.  Jackson will teach you a writing style for the essays that will make yours stand out from the rest.  FOLLOW JACKSON'S INSTRUCTIONS AND TAKE THE FLORIDA EXAM WITH CONFIDENCE.  I can't say enough about Jackson and this course."

John Gann Passed July 2004 FL Exam

"I got onto the results web site a little while ago and am happy and relieved to say I passed.  Thank you for a wonderful review course.  I really believe your materials and lectures provided a thorough understanding of what to expect on the exam and prepared me for those two long days.  Not only the content itself was helpful, but your tips regarding what the experience would be like and what the examiners expect were a great help.  And your encouraging e-mails also helped tremendously.  (My husband enjoyed reading them, too!)  It was not easy to study again after all those years!  Thank you again for a great bar preparation course."
Ann Joslin Passed Feb 2004 exam

I passed both parts of the Florida bar exam. As an attorney practicing in New York, I found your Florida specific materials extremely helpful, especially your approach to the Florida essays and your advice on the Florida multiple choice. The personal study guide kept me focused and on target. I also liked how you let us know what to expect on the exam day. Thanks for the help!
Christopher Schenk, Esq Passed July 2004 Florida exam

"As I said on the phone, I just got my results and I passed the Bar.  I
got a 134 overall.  The Exam and your advice on how to beat it played out exactly as you planned.  From what I can gather I got about 50-60% of the Florida Multiple Choice questions and did very well on the essays.     I just wanted to drop you a note thanking you for all you help and support through this process.  I had about two months to prepare for a bar exam in a state I knew nothing about and thought I'd never practice in.  Without your help, I doubt I would have made it on the first try.
Now that I've taken the exam, I can put your course in a little perspective and two things stand out.     First, The lectures and training were virtually on target when it came to providing me with the right information for the exam.  There were no surprises, no gaps in my knowledge and by the time I took the test I had more than enough tools to beat this Bar Exam.  As an added bonus, I've actually retained a good portion of the Florida material that I needed to learn for the Bar Exam.
Second, your strategies for taking the exam, especially the essay questions, combined with your approach to test taking left me completely relaxed and confident about my chances.  By the time I took the Bar exam I was calm and relaxed while it seemed like everyone else was suffering a 48 hour panic attack.  Once I finished the exam, I was confident I had passed.      After hearing about all the horror stories coming from the BarBri students compared to my experience, I can honestly say the money I spent on the Celebration Bar Exam Review was one of the best investments I made.     In any case, thanks again for your help.  I will definitely recommend your product to anyone I can.
Mike Lawson,
Passed the Feb 2004 Exam

I passed - yeah!  Thanks for everything. With the move to Florida, the construction of my house and the new job there was no way I could have attended any of the bar review courses.  Your tapes really made it easy to study on the way to and from work.  I took an SMH course before my admission to the New Hampshire bar ten years ago, and yours was just as thorough as sitting in class.  Thanks again.
Becky Briggs,
Passed the Feb 2004 Exam

I passed all parts of the exam.  After 30 years to sit for the exam again was a challenge.  By following your outline I was able to prepare for both Florida and the Multi State exams.  I would not have passed without your help.
Rich Witchko,
Passed the Feb 2004 Exam

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you for all your help.  I found
the study materials and tapes invaluable.  You tailored the schedule and work load to small bites that anyone could handle.  I will be recommending your course to others.

"I just found out that I passed all parts of the July 2003 Florida bar exam, and I want to offer you my most sincere thanks.  Although I was naturally nervous during the exam, I felt more confident after taking your course for the Florida bar exam than I felt walking into the New York bar exam which I took last year after having taken the "more commercial course."  As I sat in the Florida portion of the exam, I easily remembered everything I read in your course materials, as if they had been prepared for the exact questions that were being tested.  Your bar review course more than adequately prepared me for both portions of this exam, and I cannot thank you enough!"
Kimberly Romano, Esq. Passed the July 2003 Exam

"I've said this before and I have to say it again .... you are the greatest.  Despite the fact that I haven't taken a bar exam in nearly 15 years, your course was more than capable of preparing me to obtain a passing score on the Florida bar exam.  I received a 148 on the Multi-State and a 165 on the Florida law portion.  I'm amazed, because I knew absolutely nothing about Florida law prior to beginning your course.  To say you are a professor who can actually teach is an understatement."
Gregg Abel, Esq.
Passed the July 2003 Exam

"Thank you for your bar review course.  I just learned that I passed the bar exam.  I found your pragmatic and comprehensive.  Over a decade ago, I took the Florida Bar and failed.  At that time I was not prepared. Although I have been a member of the Pennsylvania bar, the Florida bar has been a monkey on my back.  I have put this task off for years because of the time and cost. With this course, I studied hard and knew my business because you did a good job with the tapes, reading materials and sample test. Also this course was affordable. Job well done".
Ken Lawson, Esq. Passed the July 2003 Exam

"A friend who had successfully taken the Feb. 2003 exam suggested your course to me.  I am glad she did.  Because of family health issues, I didn't decide to take the July 2003 exam until very late.  I got the books and tapes on the Friday of Memorial Day weekend in time for a 10 hour road trip...  Even though I hadn't taken a bar exam since 1978, and I only had eight weeks to study, I just got my results and passed all sections!  Your materials were thorough and the tapes were great for a person with kids and a life (which would have made sitting in a bar review classroom for 6 weeks next to impossible).  I could listen to the tapes on my schedule--that was worth everything!   Thanks much."

"Thank you for your guidance, sincere encouragement, and wise counsel.  Your course was perfect for me.  I set my own pace with home study, my private mentor, and great materials.  I followed the Celebration Bar Exam Review plan and checked off the boxes one by one.
I'm glad to have discovered you on the internet.  I gained more from your course than a passing grade.  I  learned a lot about myself, test taking, and clearly attaining my bar goal.
Your course was a valuable life experience.  "
Larry Newman, Esq.
Passed the July 2003 Exam

"I just wanted to let you know that I have passed both parts of the Florida Bar.  Thank you for a great course that allowed me to study efficiently and effectively while continuing to work full time. This was a very different experience then when I studied for another exam with Bar/Bri--unlike last time, in the weeks leading up to the exam, I actually had a life in addition to the studying and I felt prepared when I walked into the exam.  Thank you again and I am happy to say I won't be needing you anymore!!!  (Though if I do go crazy and decide to take another exam, I certainly hope it is in a state for which you have a course.)"
Melanie Chapman
Passed the July 2003 Exam

"I passed all sections of the July exam thanks to you.  When I passed the Tennessee Bar Exam in 1973, I vowed I would never take another one. “Never say never” so they say.  Thirty years passed and I totally forgot how to study (and for that matter most of what I learned in law school). Having moved to Florida and starting a new business I knew that studying for the Bar would be difficult to say the least.  I considered several Bar Review courses, but selected yours because of the comments your other students made and because yours is a Christian based company.  Well obviously I made the right choice.  Your Study Guide was just what I needed to organize the material and my time.  While at times I was still overwhelmed at the amount of material and what I thought was a severe retention deficit on my part, I trusted your words “that everything would all come together in the end”.  AND IT DID!! I can honestly say that I was much better prepared for this exam than I was for the one I took right out of law school.  Thank You.  Thank You."
Richard McNeese, Esq.  Passed the July 2003 Exam

"I received word earlier today that I passed all portions of the July 2003
Florida Bar exam.  I just want to thank you again for your outstanding
program.  After passing the Illinois bar exam way back in 1986, I was more than a little intimidated at taking it again with all the young "turks".
Working full time, commuting by air between my home in Chicago and my new one in Florida and staying involved in the lives of my wife, three young children and my church family, I didn't know how I would have time to prepare.  Your personalized study program was a wonderful solution and has the great advantage of allowing home (and car) study at a controlled pace.

The "other" bar review course offered me the option of driving an hour and a half to watch a lecture on a video monitor.  What a waste of time that would have been! In my case, I was able to start my studies more than a full month before that "other" course would have begun.  The sensible pace, personalized service and comprehensive materials really helped.

I truly feel that I passed on the first try only by the Grace of God. Part
of His grace was leading me to your course.  Thanks for your personal
attention, encouragement and prayers"
Glenn Grevengoed, Esq. Passed the July 2003 Exam

"I just wanted you to know that I passed the July, 2003 Florida Bar Exam.  I sincerely appreciate all of the help that you provided.  The materials were excellent.  They focused the areas of law down to those that I needed for the bar, they were easy to ready, and were organized in a manner that made learning them as easy as possible.

The Study Guide that you provided was fantastic, and likely made the difference between passing and failing the test.  As a sole practitioner and a father of 2 small children, I needed a system that allowed me to study at night, on the weekends, and during limited times during the day.  Further, the last bar exam I had taken was in 1995, and the thought of all the topics, subtopics and other nuances in all areas of the law was overwhelming.

The individual assignments allowed me to break up the volume of the material into daily or weekly tasks that I could complete in 3 to 5 hour study sessions.  In turn, that allowed me the flexibility to complete the assignments when I had time and to set small goals for myself to manage the amount of material I needed to learn.  Without the Study Guide and the materials, I doubt that I would have dedicated the time necessary to really study for the exam and I would not have been nearly as effective at getting through the material.

I did not select the mentored option, but I did contact Jackson several times to provide general guidance, focus and perspective, which was also very helpful.  The weekly emails also helped keep my mind on the task of passing the exam, while also allowing me to have a life in the meantime.
Thanks again for all of the help, support and faith.

Matthew Traiser, Esq. Passed the July 2003 Exam

"Most sincerely.. I couldn't .. sincerely could not have .. done it without your coaching and the course materials..
You are life savers.. and experts at what you do."

Sheri Lyn Falco, Esq. Passed the July 2003 Exam

"When I decided to take the Florida Bar Exam I knew that I needed a review course.  I am from San Juan,
Puerto Rico and there are some differences between the Puerto Rico Bar Exam that I took 3 years ago and the
Florida Bar Exam.

After visiting the Celebration Bar Review Web Site I decided to call Jackson who clearly explained how the
review course worked.  All the materials where shipped to me within a couple of days and I began studying
using the study guide that was personally designed for me.  I found the Study Guide to be the most useful and
important tool of the review program, given the fact that I worked full time and I had limited time to
study.  The materials included were clear and easy to understand considering the fact that English is not
my first language, I am a Spanish speaking person.

At the beginning of the study process I had some difficulties in the essay writing portion, but, with
Jackson's help and guidance (he was available for me every time I called) I was able to overcome my writing
problems.  Finally, I passed both parts of the Florida Bar Exam on my first try.

I recommend Celebration Bar Exam Review 100%, these people were very good in preparing me for the Florida Bar
Exam, they not only guided me, they supported me in a lot of ways; something amazing was that Jackson predicted
all of the essay questions subjects"
Miguel Romero, Esq. Passed the July 2003 Exam

"I just wanted to say thank you so much for aiding me in passing the Florida portion of the Bar Exam! I had taken BarBri and PMBR and passed the MBE, but having attended law school out of state and failing the Florida portion twice, I thought I was doomed and had almost given up - until I received your Celebration Bar Exam Review study materials.

I cannot emphasize enough how great they were; not too overwhelming nor long, and incredibly helpful essay answers. I was able to continue to work full-time at a corporate law firm in Miami and review your materials at night. Thanks again!"

Martha Wright, Passed the July 2003 Exam

" I passed the July 2003 Florida Bar exam.  Thank you for an outstanding course.  As you know, my study time was quite limited as I am currently practicing law in New York on a full time basis and also have four children to take care of.  Last winter, spring and summer were quite busy, but I set a goal and with your help I achieved it."

Patrick Emmerling, Esq.   Passed the July 2003 Exam

"The review course was well organized and fully prepared me for the bar examination. Jackson was an invaluable resource and thanks to his help I passed on the first try."
Joe Boatwright  Passed the Feb 2003 exam

"I graduated from law school about 16 years ago, which is when I last took a bar exam.  I found the Celebration Bar Exam Review course to be the perfect refresher for areas I'd not studied or worked in for years, sometimes not since my first year in law school.  The ability to work my studies around my hectic schedule was the best aspect of the course. I'd certainly recommend the course to anyone, but especially to those currently working who need flexibility in their study schedule."
Ann Shane, Passed the Feb 2003 exam

"I'm an experienced attorney, previously admitted in California, Alaska, and Washington.  ...
When I decided to relocate to Florida in 2003, I wanted to find a bar review course that I could complete independently in Alaska.  Since my most recent bar exam was in 1987, I was pretty sure that I would need some serious bar exam assistance.  I contacted Celebration Bar Exam Review by e-mail, and completed a questionnaire.  Within a week, I had a custom-made set of course materials, including audio lectures, course materials, and practice exams.  The materials gave me everything I needed to prepare for and pass the Florida exam, including the Multistate PRE.

Having taken three previous exams using materials from three different
providers, I can say without qualification that the Celebration Bar Exam Review course was the best.  I received complete materials covering legal subjects.
Equally importantly, the course materials advising on preparation
techniques helped me to focus my energies and limited time in the most
efficient way.  Celebration Bar Exam Review helped me to know not only how to prepare, but what NOT to spend time on.  I did not subscribe to the mentoring option, but based on the quality of the other materials, I believe that the mentoring would be very helpful to those who need some extra counseling and reinforcement.

I strongly recommend Celebration Bar Exam Review without reservation for anyone desiring to prepare for the Florida Bar."

"I just found out that I passed both parts of the Florida Bar Examination on the first try.  Thank you!!!!!!  The Celebration Bar Exam Review course is an excellent program to use to prepare for the Florida Bar Examination.  I have been out of Fordham Law School for 9 years and when I first studied some of the topics, I realized that I had forgotten many of the topics.  Through a very detailed and well-thought out work plan and excellent study materials, I was able to methodically prepare for the exam.  With both written materials and audio tapes, you have different ways to learn at your fingertips.  I personally enjoyed the advice and test information the best.  Tips on test taking, how the exam is graded, and detailed outlines on the exam topics empowered me to attack studying with the confidence that my time was well spent and would be justly rewarded.  After encountering some very confused test takers in the months leading up to the exam,  I realized that not every course is providing this information to their students.  The writing course is also time well spent.  I was very resistant to adjusting my writing style at first.  However, with Jackson's prodding, I gave in and adopted the methodology.  The results are self-explanatory.  No course is perfect.  However, with hard work and persistence, you will not go wrong with the Celebration Bar Exam Review Course."
Sal Salamone Passed the Feb 2003 Exam

"I just want to thank you again for your help on the Feb 2003 Florida Bar.  I passed the exam and although it was tough, your course prepared me better than the course I took six years ago when I took the Kansas bar.  I felt much more confident this time and better organized, thanks to your syllabus which I followed.  Your lectures on tape were excellent and really pulled the written material together for me.  What is really amazing, is this time I studied for and took the bar while working full time as a Sheriff Legal Advisor and raising three kids.  I believe your course, your mentorship (and of course your test anxiety workshop) is what helped me to succeed! "

"I am very pleased to report that I have successfully passed the Florida Bar Exam. My first bar exam was Indiana a few years ago, when the Indiana exam was an all essay test. The horror stories of the complexities of the Multi-state bar (not even mentioning the Florida sections of the test) had me very concerned, until I started working with the Celebration Bar Exam Review materials. The materials seemed as if they were designed specifically for me, right down to the jokes, illustrations, and asides on the tapes!!!  I was very afraid that trying to maintain my studies, while balancing practice, family and church would be too much, but thanks to lots of prayers, family support, and the Celebration materials I was able to succeed!! I have recommended Celebration to every other attorney I know, and will continue to do so. Thank you so much for your assistance, efforts, and prayers in helping me to pass the exam."

Passed the Feb 2003 Exam

I just received my letter from the Supreme Court of Florida congratulating me on my successful performance on the February 2003 administration of both parts of the Florida Bar Exam.   I could not have passed this grueling exam without the help of Jackson and the Celebration Bar Exam Review course!!!!!!!!!!  He truly believes that any student can get past this exam when the right amount of work and effort is put forth.  He taught me that it is not necessary to study for this exam for 10-12 hours a day, and that it CAN be done while working full time.   In his words, "you can't cram for the bar exam."  His vast knowledge base, positive attitude and ESPECIALLY his words of encouragement almost on a daily basis leading up to the bar exam worked wonders for me, and I truly know that they will work for anyone who wishes to get past this hurdle.   Thank you very much, Mr. Mumey, and may God bless you and the Celebration Bar Exam Review course. "
Kevin Caldwell, Esq.
Passed the Feb 2003 Exam

"As a New York practitioner of some 35 years, my decision to study for the Florida Bar was considered by some to be a "midlife crisis" (I am being charitable when I say midlife, after all I am 59).

Even more challenging was the simple fact that my practice had been limited to matrimonial matters and my knowledge of real estate, etc. was less than perfect.
I elected to take the course offered by Celebration Bar Exam Review, based upon modest investigation of the various courses and my realization that your course was well suited for an active practitioner.
As I commuted back and forth on the train, I would listen to your tapes and, of course, from time to time would be heard to laugh or make odd comments as I either agreed or found one of the points in your lectures to be either moving or humorous.
Needless to say, I adopted the "Mumey Method" ....  I concentrated on the writing of the essays as well as the multi-state examination.
Much to my delight, I have just been advised that I have passed the test portion of the Bar and for that I want to offer my heartfelt thanks to you and your organization."
Herman Tarnow Passed the July 2002 Exam

"Eleven years after my first Bar Exam, I moved to Florida, took a fulltime job outside of my profession and undertook single-parenting of my two kids, ages 3 and 6.  Sitting for the July 2002 Florida Bar exam was, at best, a challenge.  But Celebration proved to be the key.  The outlines are comprehensive and the audio lectures are illuminating and interesting.  Daily e-mails from Jackson helped with the emotional and spiritual burden.  Against the odds, I passed on my first try.  Thank you!"
Elizabeth Birkett Passed the July 2002 exam

"The taped lectures made all the difference in the world, and are an invaluable tool for condensing the vast amount of information you need to know for the test.  Because you control your own pace, you can stop the tape and relisten to any section that you may be having trouble with.  This simply isn't an option in other review courses."
Chad Alvaro Passed the July 2002 exam

"Thanks to your review course and Jackson's incredible help and support, I have passed the July Florida Bar Exam! Hands down, this course is the best course out there, especially for people who don't have the time (or perhaps personality) to sit through video bar lectures with a crowd of other, nervous bar takers. Jackson's personal service and the quality of the materials, faculty and information offered in this course sent me into the exam with the confidence and knowledge I needed to succeed. And succeed I did...

So once again, THANK YOU! "
Tina Chinchic, Esquire  Passed the July 2002 exam

"Just a note to let you know that I passed the Bar Exam! The difficulty of the exam made a comprehensive study course essential but, being a single mother running my own law firm -- and living in another State -- made it impossible to even consider one of the "mainstream" type courses.  This course made it possible for me to study at times convenient to me -- whether morning, afternoon or late at night.  It also allowed me to go at my pace and comprehend the material sufficiently to pass.
Your methods definitely work.  I am glad that there are people willing to
think "outside the box" instead of insisting on the old classroom methods for education.  I wish more educators, such as those in charge of our children, would do the same. Thank you -- and keep up the good work. "

Cheryl McCray - Passed the Florida Feb 2002 exam

"I passed the February bar exam.  Your bar review course deserves the credit.  I have told a classmate to use Celebration Bar Exam Review for the July bar.  Thank you for getting me through the test."
Sean Perkins - Passed the Feb 2002 exam

"I took the New York Bar 19 years ago and vowed I would never take another exam. Thanks to your insight and perspective, I was able to jump back in and pass the Florida exam this July. Your approach is perfect for someone who needs to study while working full time (plus coaching Little League)."

Thomas Cusimano - Passed the July 2001 exam

"I passed the Florida Bar Exam!! Thank you for all your help. I believe that your course did an excellent job of preparing me to take the exam. It made the difference between passing and failing."

Bill Andrews, Passed the July 2001 exam

"I am very happy to say that I passed!!!! Thank you so very much for all your assistance. This is such a wonderful feeling, I can not give enough praise to Celebration's program and your guidance. It put me over the top and taught me how to write these essays. I will continue to recommend your program, especially to other repeat takers. THANK YOU!!!

Heather Valdes, Passed the July 2001 exam

"Thank you Celebration Bar Exam Review for helping me prepare for the Florida bar exam. As managing partner of a thriving law firm and father of two young children, my time is very precious. Although studying was a major commitment, Celebration Bar Exam Review's lecture tapes helped me to make efficient use of my time. Given the fact that I had only about sixty days to study for the exam, I was surprised that I entered the exam room feeling rested and prepared. I would recommend Celebration Bar Exam Review to all applicants, especially those with limited time to prepare for the exam."

Brad A. Galbraith - Passed the Feb 2001 exam

"Twenty-five years between bar exams is a long time, but I couldn't have found a better way to prepare than with this course. The lesson plans are clearly set out, and the audio taped lectures are of high quality. Having hundreds of practice questions was a tremendous benefit, both in terms of learning and in taking a bit of the fear out of the actual exam. The lesson on how to approach the essay questions was in itself worth the price of admission. I can't imagine having passed the bar without this program." Wendy Harrison, Passed the Feb 2001 exam

"I passed the Florida Bar! Thanks to Celebration Bar Exam Review for providing a comprehensive study program that gave me the flexibility to study where I pleased. Jackson's predictions for the subject matter to be tested were right on target. No surprises. Thank you!!"

Kimberly Nutt, Passed the July 2000 exam

"Your program really met my needs. I was able to prepare and pass the Florida bar while maintaining my busy Dallas law practice. I recommend the Celebration Bar Exam Review course for anyone wanting to make the exam a one-time event!"

P. Perrin,  Passed the Feb 2000 exam

" I decided to take the bar examination in Florida after not having been a student for twenty-seven (27) years.   My fellow lawyers told me to put it off until the following exam sitting as seven (7) weeks was hardly enough time to relearn the academic concepts I had not worked with in years. Your mentorship, encouragement and occasionally force-fed self confidence (as well as a good deal of patient emailed psychotherapy) was instrumental in helping this horribly disorganized effort take shape and become a success.
I certainly could not have passed it on the first attempt, if at all after so many years, without your course and your help.
       Thanks."
David L. Hirsch, Attorney at Law PC  Passed the Feb 2002 exam

"I passed both sections, first time out of the box, at age 52, having only 7 weeks to prepare.  Your method worked for me and I am grateful."

Kerry Kessler  Passed the Feb 2002 exam

"Your course did an excellent job of preparing me to take the Florida exam. It made the difference between passing and failing."

"I PASSED !!!! I PASSED !!!! I PASSED!!!!!!!!! THANKS SO MUCH JACKSON, AFTER 4 FAILURES I FINALLY PASS. ITS LIKE WINNING THE SUPER BOWL. I FEEL LIKE JOHN ELWAY HOLDING THE SUPER BOWL TROPHY AFTER SO MANY FAILURES..."

James Benages - Passed the July 2001 exam

"My first contact with Celebration Bar Exam Review came during an internet search shortly after my dear wife and I decided that I should prepare for the Florida bar exam even though I had practiced law in other states for over twenty-five years (see my web site at www.refior.com).  As an Indiana solo practitioner with a mature law practice,  I could not take time off  work and I needed a course for home study.  I credit the Celebration Bar Exam Review course with the great success I enjoyed -  obtaining a scaled score on the MPRE of 120 when the Florida minimum passing scaled score is 80, and then  not only passing the Florida general bar exam (both the Florida part  and the Multistate  part) , but scoring in the top 10% (based upon comparable scores from a previous Florida bar exam).  I recommend men and women who want the best program for passing the Florida bar exam to enroll with Celebration Bar Exam Review.  Here are some specifics.

Celebration provided me with a Personal Study Guide to take me step by step through the course.   I was willing to rely upon  the Celebration  Bar Review professionals to be experts in how to prepare for the bar exam.  My reliance was well-founded.  The written outline materials were outstanding.  The audiotape lectures were excellent in substantive content and in providing countless inside tips on how  to analyze and answer multiple choice and essay questions.  The practice questions with thorough explanations  as to why one alternative was right and the other three were wrong brought it all together.  I followed their plan, and I studied before and after work and on week ends.  I listened to tapes in the car and while working in my woodshop, or doing yardwork or exercising.   It was helpful and even comforting that I had my own personal mentor - a bar exam expert available at all times.  He always answered my questions immediately.

When the bar exam arrived I was confident that  the Celebration methods and materials had brought me to the point of knowing what I needed to know and how to apply that knowledge in the process of analyzing and answering the essay and multiple choice questions.  During the bar exam  there were no surprises.  I thank the Lord that I found the Celebration Bar Exam Review course.  I feel like I am doing a service by recommending this course to others who want to prepare for the bar exam through home study.  I consider it to be the highway to success on the bar exam.  If anyone desires to ask me to elaborate upon any part of my recommendation, please give me a call at 219-269-6649."

Paul Refior - Passed the July 2001 exam

"While studying to take the Florida Bar Exam for the second time, I worked full time. I had no time to sit through lectures or spend hours on end reading lengthy outlines. Celebration Bar Exam Review allowed me the flexibility of studying for the bar when it was convenient for me. At the same time, the personalized study plan and weekly conversations with my mentor really helped me to keep my focus. Jackson Mumey is a very knowledgeable, patient, and encouraging mentor. I would highly recommend Celebration Bar Exam Review to anyone anticipating the bar exam, whether it is your first, second or third time, whatever your situation."

Barbara Case - Passed the Feb 2001 exam

"Hip Hip Hooray...damn, the exclamation point on my keyboard died. I could really use it today. Thanks so much for a very well-designed course and for humoring me."

W.H. - Passed the Feb 2001 exam

"I followed the [...] review for the New York State bar exam and failed! I followed the Celebration review for the Florida State bar exam and passed!!!!! Need I say more?....Yes!!

[The other review] is a cram course designed for 10+ hours of study a day.  This includes 2 months of a daily schedule constituting 4+ hours of a monotonous note taking lectures in front of a television screen.  It was a grueling torture.

Celebration is a course designed to accommodate one's personal schedule.  The taped lectures are ideal for those idle hours spent exercising or driving the car.  The personal study guide provided me the flexibility to adjust my study hours to my daily schedule.  I was also able to study over a 4 month period and eliminate the "cram" sessions.

Although I did not frequently call my personal mentor, when needed, he timely responded to my inquiries and provided the advice needed to address the essay writing techniques.

I highly recommend Celebration Bar Exam Review!!!"

Judith Just, Feb 2001 Student

"I have just received my exam results indicating I have passed both parts of the Florida Bar. I want to extend my sincere thanks for the guidance you provided. As a result of your tutorage and the course, I was very well
prepared for the exam. I must add that the ability to speak to you about my essays was also invaluable. Upon obtaining my scores, I am now enjoying a celebration as a result of Celebration Bar Exam Review! Please feel free to refer any skeptics to my e-mail."

Jose Diaz , July 2000 Student

Outstanding program!  With a busy schedule, I needed a program that was both comprehensive and tailored around my schedule.  Celebration Bar Exam Review fit the bill. The course materials were concise and well written, and thoroughly covered Florida law.  The tapes were complete and interesting.  The lessons were just the right length and designed to build upon each other.  This, coupled with a staff who was both available and understanding of the needs of their students, I felt that I was as prepared as I could be for any bar exam. Celebration was there when I needed it.  I would recommend it to anyone
interested in passing the Florida Bar.  Thanks again, you're the best!

- Passed the Feb 2002 exam

I recently confronted the Florida Bar, more than fifteen years after law school graduation.  My work in the interim had touched on very few of the issues covered on the exam.  Celebration Bar Exam Review was an efficient and effective way to prepare for the Bar.  The quality of the taped lectures, outlines and telephone mentoring was excellent, and I passed both the Florida and Multistate sections with very comfortable margins.  The study plan worked well, and was flexible enough to accommodate my time constraints and individual study habits.  I definitely recommend Celebration Bar Exam Review, especially for lawyers who feel that sitting for two months in a room full of very nervous recent grads would be at best counterproductive.

Joel Friedman - Passed the Feb 2002 exam

Having recently passed the Florida Bar on the first try -- after being out of law school over 15 years,
working full time and having a preschooler at home -- I can't say enough good things about Celebration Bar Exam Review.  The study materials (books, tapes and computer disks) arrived with a detailed, personalized study guide that took me through each and every assignment I needed to successfully master the Florida law topics, the Multistate topics and the MPRE.  Jackson provides a wealth of insight based on his personal knowledge and experience with the Florida bar examination system.  The comprehensive study materials, together with Jackson's pointers on exam taking, allowed me to complete the exam in a relaxed, confident manner.  If you'd like to talk to me about my personal experience with Celebration Bar Exam Review, feel free to contact me...

Cynthia Payne - Passed the Feb 2002 exam

I got a 146 on the FL part, a 164 on the MBE, and a 155 overall. My MPRE  was a 100+ (I don't remember) scaled. All this within a few days of my third daughter's birth and while traveling 100+ days a year!!

Dear Jackson,

You can't imagine the great relief that I feel after just reading that I passed the Florida Bar Exam. This was the sixth bar exam that I had taken...

I attribute the secret of my success to your method of essay writing. I can speak with authority on this subject, having spent thousands on coaching. Before this I was coached privately by [] at BarBri, [] at EZ Way Tutoring, a woman from MicroMash, as well as taking the essay writing programs from West and BarBri. Your method really helped me to be more thorough in my work.

...I was in the elevator at the Hyatt in Tampa the first day of the exam. There was a guy on the elevator singing your praises...Now I will join him. I thank you.

I recommend that the world use your methods.

Sincerely,

Jack Phillips

I passed!! Thank you!! Your course is the best!...Thanks to your course  materials and methods I passed and am so grateful to you for my success on this test. I will recommend this course to all future Florida bar takers  who ask which course to take. Your course is by far the best!!

I had heard about Celebration Bar Exam Review from a friend in Naples Florida who had taken the Florida Bar Exam and passed.  She had told me that it was a home study course that was relatively inexpensive and had a 95% pass rate on the Florida Bar.  Upon contact with you on the phone with only two and one-half months to go before the exam the decision was a no brainer.

I received my course material within 1-2 days of the phone call and was on my way.  Since I had passed the New York and New Jersey Bar over 10 years ago with BARBRI having studied every day (nite and day, including weekends) for two solid months and going to classes, I was amazed with the parttime built-in nature of the course.  Admittedly, I was apprehensive.  But your system works!  The proof is in the puddin!  I passed!

First, the course allowed me, working full time as a CPA in Florida, to avoid going to classes and spending wasted driving time to Fort Myers from Naples.  Second, the audiocassettes allowed me to run while listening to the course lectures.  This allowed me to make a long lecture an event to be enjoyed and my retention greater.  Third, I found one of the most important parts of passing the New York exam was going over past exam questions and your course supplied all the questions and answers you could want.

Finally, your advice and commentary on exam preparation and taking strategy excellent.  I actually enjoyed studying for the exam, learning the changes in constitutional and criminal procedure laws since I had last studied for the exam as well as learning the Florida materials.  The course was regimented and yet effortless.  I enjoyed my weekends and even evenings while still staying on schedule with the course schedule.

I compliment you and your program and will always be thankful to the person that recommended the course.  Naturally, I will always send anyone who is interested in taking the Bar your way.

Best regards,

Anthony Listrom

"Celebration Bar Exam Review is an ideal course for practicing attorneys seeking admission in another state. I was able to study for the bar exam on my schedule using taped lectures. Essays were transmitted by fax to a mentor, who was available for comments during business hours. The lectures and comments were excellent. I passed the Florida Bar Exam without ever meeting a professor or another student!"

Carlos Halasz, Feb. Student

"Thanks for all the great help. Time to go celebrate!" Beth Carlson

"Course materials and tape lectures are well thought out. Many of the bar exam questions are anticipated. I could not have passed on the first attempt without Celebration Bar Exam Review!"  N.N.

"I passed! Thank you for your materials…I listened to your tapes every day; from each time I stepped into my car, to when I exercised or ran, or wherever else I could put on a walkman. Thank you again…"Bud Moscony

"I will strongly recommend your course…you are the man!" Dennis Cappello

"I want to compliment Celebration Bar Exam Review on the quality of your materials. There were very few surprises on the Florida exam…and absolutely none on the Multistate. I heard several people complaining about the barbri course and when I told them how I studied, they wanted to know more about your course because they were all convinced that they had flunked the exam. I passed!" Victor Hastings

"I PASSED! Thank you for all the help you have given me!!! I am e-mailing you immediately after I found out. I felt compelled to thank you before I called my own mother…" Larry Schweiker

"You are WONDERFUL! I will be more than happy to give you a super recommendation as a practitioner who has been out of the Bar exam environment for over 15 years. Thanks for all your great help and mentorship." David M. Robinson

"Thank you for all your patience, time and guidance. I could not have passed without your assistance and your knowledge of how to prepare for the exam." Daurean Sloan

I passed both parts of the Feb 99 Florida Bar. Thank you for all your help. I truly believe that the Bar Review materials and your sage advice and instruction played a major part in my being able to pass the bar.

I am writing this letter today to thank you for helping me pass the Florida Bar Examination. Thanks to you I am no longer in the bar exam purgatory that I have existed in for the last three and a half years. As you know I had taken the Florida Bar exam 8 times before I was lucky enough to come across your Bar Review on the Internet.

I was fortunate enough to find the Study Group, but it wasn't luck that allowed me to pass the bar exam. The materials you provided me with were far superior to any that I used previously. The written material was well organized and informative. The audiotape lecturers were knowledgeable, concise, and occasionally entertaining. I found the study schedule easy to follow and well paced. Most importantly, your personal guidance and encouragement provided me with the confidence I needed to not only pass but pass convincingly!

My only regret is that I did not know of you three years ago. I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to pass the bar exam the first time out. I sincerely hope that your course is one day recognized as being the leading bar review course in the country.

Respectfully

Nico J. Vitale

    PASS PASS PASS YES

Your course was great! I absolutely could not have spent the time it took to pass the exam without the flexibility of having the taped lectures to listen to in the car. Thanks.

I passed both the Florida and MBE. I merely followed the plan. Thanks for your help.

I have been remiss in sending you a note of thanks for your assistance in preparing me to pass the Florida Bar Examination in February. My score on both the Multistate and Florida portions of the examination was 163.

1 closely followed your study schedule in preparation for the examination, with particular emphasis on the audiotapes. Your materials were superb, and the methodology of study gave me total confidence as I walked into the examination room that I was ready and prepared to pass the exam. I retained that confidence from the time I departed the exam until the date my scores arrived.

In sum, the rust that developed during my 20 plus years of service in the Navy following law school was swept away by the clarity and comprehensiveness of your study materials. Thanks!

Sincerely,

Raymond J. Kreichelt

Dear Jackson,

I want to thank you for the personal attention you gave to me while I
studied to pass the Florida Bar exam. From the first tape on test anxiety to the last e-mail message predicting the likely essay topics, your course was on the money. Your system for giving telephone critiques of my practice essay answers taught me a new and better way to write essays and undoubtedly played a large role in my success in passing the Florida Bar exam.

Your Bar Review offered the only bar review course I could find which was suitable for a working out-of-state attorney to study for the Florida Bar exam. I was able to continue to work and continue many of my community service activities while I studied for the exam. I will be sworn in by a local notary public tomorrow and expect to be registered as a Florida attorney shortly thereafter.

Thanks for a job well done.

Nick Jackson

Dear Jackson:

I wanted to let you know that I passed the Feb. '99 Florida and MBE exams with some pretty nice scores, FL -148, MS -161. Your Florida program is excellent, virtually everything asked on the exam was included somewhere in the Florida review books. I took the Florida and Massachusetts exams concurrently and still managed to come out on top. I would recommend this review course to anyone taking the Florida exam.
Thanks again for all that essay help.

Sincerely,
Brian Jansen

Dear Jackson:

Once again I would like to thank you for your wonderful assistance in my preparations for the Florida Bar Exam. Your patience and scholarly advice as my mentor was invaluable to my preparation and success. When I felt overwhelmed at times, your encouragement and good humor lifted my spirits and enabled me to carry on.

As you know, I've taken other bar review courses while preparing for the Kentucky Bar in 1974 and the Virginia Bar in 1978. Although I successfully passed each of those examinations, I can truly say that your Bar Review took me into the Florida Bar Exam feeling better prepared and more confident than ever before.

I found your materials comprehensive and concise summaries of the law which focused on those areas which were most likely to be tested. The audiotapes were excellent supplements to the written materials. The Daily Syllabus and Study Guide carefully guided me to success, and provided the flexibility needed since I worked full-time as a prosecutor.

Finally, I feel that the single most important aspect of your course is the Essay Writing Workshop. If a student follows your technique and practices the assigned essay questions in the Study Guide she will find that the actual test questions easier to answer. More importantly, the Bar Readers can more easily recognize her knowledge of the law and that her answer is a passing answer.

April 24,1999

Dear Jackson,

Fresh out of law school ten years ago, the bar exam was one of those tedious, but necessary rites of passage that my fellow law school friends and I viewed nervously, but also somewhat enthusiastically. It was our ticket in. We-all also swore that "once was enough!" So it was with great dread and too much time since last I had contemplated a myriad of esoteric -- at least to my mind, concepts of law, that I faced the prospect of another bar exam and learned of you and your bar review.

Your program instilled confidence from the beginning. The idea of having a personal mentor along with the ability to tailor my studies around work, holidays, and the other demands of an ongoing, every day life sold me on the program. Of course, your written materials and audio tapes were comprehensive, accurate, and appropriately focused in their emphasis. Along the way, I found your test taking strategy, both generally and bar-specific, comforting and insightful. Without a doubt the most critical contribution to my success on the bar exam has to have been your excellent and surprisingly straightforward essay writing critique process. But, most of all, I valued the least substantive and technical part of your program; namely, your balanced common sense advice and the humor you brought to the process. All of these things combined so that when I finally did take the bar exam, I felt relaxed, confident, and prepared.

Once again, I find myself saying "never again." If, however, I have to do it again (or someone I know has to), I would wholeheartedly call on (or commend) you as the way to go! Many thanks again and,

Best regards,

Dear Jackson:

A note of thanks for all the preparation, assistance and guidance The Study Group, Inc. ("TSG") provided to me while I studied for the Florida bar.

I first learned about TSG while searching the Internet for a bar exam preparation course. After comparing TSG with other bar preparation courses, I selected TSG for the following reasons: (i) immediate prompt response to my initial questions relating to the course structure and content; (ii) the confidence and knowledge relayed to me during my conversations about the Florida bar; (iii) the ability to use a variety of study aid mediums (audio cassette, reading material and computer testing); (iv) direct one-on-one personal assistance with a TSG member; and (v) the high pass rate of previous course students. As soon as the program was explained to me (and especially the fact that only approximately 40 students could enroll) - I wanted to be one of the chosen few. I needed every possible edge to succeed. I hadn't studied for a bar in 8 years, hadn't really practiced law for the past 2 years, worked relatively stable hours in a close fishbowl environment (where anything new - such as studying - would have been highly suspect) and at home I had an active 3-year old. I needed a program that was flexible enough yet tailored to my particular needs. TSG was able to do that,

I received a personal guide from TSG outlining what my assignments would be and what I needed to accomplish by late February. For the longest while I struggled with the assignments because the last time I wrote an exam I studied 8-10 hours a day; how could I pass this exam if I only studied 3 hours a day and was not doing well when tested? Although I was often told, and rightly so, that studying was a process and should not be a crammed event, it took me a while to truly understand what TSG meant by "it is a process." This was the first time studying for a bar exam that I began to understand what the question was asking and why I was getting the question wrong. I stopped worrying whenever I received a wrong answer because I knew I would not get that question wrong again - especially when it counted on the bar exam. Each time I completed multiple-choice questions, took MBE practice tests, wrote essays on various topics, I continued to realize that I had retained the information. Each day I was slowly building a foundation to fine tune what few areas of the law I might still be having trouble with in February - rather than panicking about how I was going to cram 16-17 topics in the last three weeks before the exam.

The most important thing TSG taught was confidence. Constant review of the material, writing essays under timed conditions, taking practice MBES, explaining the layout of the Tampa Convention Center ("TCC") and the militaristic process of the exam helped to ease the anxiety. On the day of the exam, I noticed how few bar exam takers were relaxed, confident and ready to demonstrate what they knew. The nervous energy, -the clutching to one's bar review material, the last minute glance at a study aid, a group discussion of just what is the difference between 'x' and 'y' abounded. Through TSG I had been told exactly what to expect so when it unfolded before me as I arrived at the TCC, I just smiled and relaxed knowing that all that had been told to me by TSG was accurate and that if I followed the strategies I had practiced over the past 3 months, I would do fine. That is exactly the approach I took and I passed.

I cannot thank TSG and particularly you, Jackson enough. TSG is more than the typical bar review course. You were my personal coach, guidance counselor and shot of reality whenever I needed it. You were always available whenever I needed to reach you (even though I was 3,000 miles away with a 3-hour time difference). You have a very straightforward approach, which I appreciated. If I needed to buckle down or stop fretting about something - you would tell me what I needed to focus on and get me over the hump and onto the next phase of the studying process. Moreover, I cannot thank you enough for your time, effort, interest, humor, perception and candidness as well as your ability to make a difficult concept of the law more understandable. You are a wonderful teacher and exceptionally knowledgeable.

Should anyone be faced with a decision of whether to take the Florida bar and is seeking a bar review course I would highly recommend TSG. I am a past student of BARBRI and PMBR. There is no comparison between these bar preparation courses and TSG. TSG is in a category of its own - for a good reason - you truly end up being prepared and ready for the exam.

Thank you TSG and especially you, Jackson. If I can be of any assistance in the future Jackson, I'd be happy to assist in any way I can. I could not have passed the Florida bar exam without you.

Dear Jackson,

After graduating from a Civil Law School in Louisiana, I only had SIX weeks to prepare for the Florida Bar Exam. Your Bar Review prioritized my personal syllabus to identify my strengths and weaknesses which maximized my chances for passing the Bar. The end result, my level of stress was substantially decreased and I PASSED WITH FLYING COLORS.

The Bar Review comprehensively prepared me for all elements required to practice law in Florida: (1) the Multistate; (2) the Florida Essays; and (3) the MPRE

The Multistate is simply unexplainable. But the Bar Review easily deciphered the common tricks within the multiple-choice questions which allowed me to eliminate incorrect answers quickly. The Multistate is child's play once you learn the tricks.

The Bar Review provides Model Answers for actual past Florida Bar essay questions. This allowed me to understand the issues that I overlooked and to focus on the issues that are repetitively placed on the exam. I was completely prepared for every essay question on the exam - absolutely NO SURPRISES.

The MPRE was a cinch because the Bar Review provided me with hundreds of questions exactly like the questions on the MPRE. Every fact pattern that was on the exam, I had recognized, practiced and analyzed several times. With a few hours of Bar Review preparation, you can score well over 100.

The Bar Review provided me with structure, personal instructions and confidence. After scoring a 147 on the LSAT, I -was concerned about the Florida Bar, but I passed with flying colors - Thanks!

Graduated 1998 Passed Bar - July 1998

Dear Jackson:

I received notification from the Florida Board that I passed the July 1998 Florida Bar Examination. I want to thank you and the your Bar Review team; this was a joint success.

I am 43 years old, a sole practitioner in New York with a wife and 8 year old daughter. I last took a Bar Exam (New York) 17 years ago. I needed a review course that would accommodate my busy schedule, and The Celebration Bar Exam Review was right on target. It was a lot of work, but the Personal Study Guide provided a systematic, organized approach. All I needed to do was maintain the discipline of study on a daily basis.

My results: Part A: 147; Part B: 144; Overall: 145.5.

Thank you for being my mentor. I appreciated the personal attention. The critiques of my essays helped me to improve, as seen by my Florida score. More important, you gave me the confidence to realize that I was not "over the hill", that I had the ability to succeed with proper preparation.

Feel free to use my name as a reference. I would strongly recommend your Bar Review as the sensible way to prepare for, and pass, the Florida Bar Examination.

Sincerely,

Dennis S. Cappello

Dear Jackson,

Thanks!

Your Bar Review is the best investment any out-of-state attorney desiring to practice in Florida can make. I could not afford to not work full-time. Jackson's program allowed me to work and study at the same time without taking any days off of work except for the bar exam itself. Nothing else on the market can compare to the flexibility of the course. I was able to weave the work into my schedule, listening to tapes in the car or at home when I was ready.

I have to mention three additional great things about the program. The first is the ability to relisten to the tapes. After doing questions and reading the outlines, going back to the tapes on my weaker areas helped me to crystallize what was previously elusive. This was critical in the days leading up to the exam. With Bar-bri, if you miss a lecture or don’t get it at the time, too bad-you're on your own.

Secondly, Jackson was right on with his exam predictions. One of the Florida essay questions was very much the same as the practice essay he had us submit on the subject. By writing on this and having it critiqued by Jackson, I was able to provide the bar examiners with just what they wanted on that question. I honed in on his predictions and it was worth it. Had I been on my own, I would have spent too much time on areas the examiners did not test.

Finally, and most significantly, was the great preparation for the essay portion of the Florida test. I followed Jackson's technique, submitted all of my practice questions on time, and took to heart his suggestions. By doing this I gradually developed an airtight writing method that not only provided the examiners what they wanted, but reduced the stress level on the exam tremendously. By the time I saw the exam it was no big deal to apply the technique (which was second nature by now) and plow through the questions.

I give the Bar Review my unequivocal endorsement. By signing up early, I saved myself a ton of money. And the results cannot be argued against. Even though I worked full time and took no days off to prepare, I scored in the top 30% for Florida and in the top 15% for the MBE. I also scored in the top 90% on the MPRE.

Your Bar Review is the best choice I could have made with my money.

Dear Jackson,

I am still delighted with the good news of having passed the July 1997 Florida Bar Exam. None of this would have been possible without your study materials or without your guidance and support. I am eternally grateful.

By virtue of this letter, I wish to recommend with enthusiasm the course of studies that your Bar Review has assembled. I am a proprietary partner in the fourth largest law firm in San Juan, Puerto Rico…Needless to say, I was required to utilize my precious and limited free time wisely in order to prepare for the Florida Bar.

The audiotapes and written materials that were made available to me through the Bar Review enabled me to study for the Florida Bar Examination in the comfort of my home and at my convenience. I felt that I was in control of when and how I would study. The materials were well organized and clearly understandable. Whenever I had doubts about matters that I heard on the audiotapes, I was able to clarify them readily by consulting the published materials. Now that I have passed the Bar Examination, I intend to keep the published materials for reference purposes at my office.

Moreover, the materials themselves covered exactly what was asked on the examination-no more and no less. For this reason alone, I believe that other practitioners who are pressed for time should enroll in your program of studies. The Bar Review materials allowed me to make the maximum-and efficient-use of my time. Had I enrolled in any other course of studies, I am certain that I would not have had sufficient time to prepare myself for the Bar Exam. Either my full time legal practice or my performance on the Bar Exam would have suffered serious setbacks. Because The Bar Review materials are so well organized, I was able to continue with my full time legal practice and to study (on my time) for the Bar Exam, with positive results.

I did not study law in the State of Florida. In fact, I studied law in a jurisdiction governed by a Civil Code derived from the continental European tradition. Accordingly, I was not well versed in the common law at all. Nevertheless, the course materials that The Celebration Bar Exam Review provided were sufficiently clear and well drafted to enable me to bridge the gap in my learning experience from the Civil Law tradition to the Common Law.

I must also emphasize that your patient guidance and advice on the various practice essay questions were critical to my having passed the Bar Exam. You helped me to focus on the concerns of the Bar Examiners. I am convinced that because of your advice I was able to respond effectively and coherently to the essay questions that were posed on the exam.

Dear Jackson,

I want to thank you for all your help and support as I prepared for the Florida Bar. I believe the Home Study Program is indispensable not only to  first time bar applicants but also for out of state attorneys such as myself. The substantive information was excellent, the computer program and review invaluable. The recommendations for the course of study and practical advice of time allocation gave structure to the program.

I appreciated the fact you were readily available to answer any questions. Your encouragement helped during the times test anxiety reared its ugly head! I recommend your Bar Review to all Florida Bar examinees.

Very Truly Yours

Dear Jackson:

I want to thank you for your assistance with the 1998 Florida Bar and Professional Responsibility Exams. The self-paced nature of the course was essential for me. Unlike when I took the Connecticut Bar Exam 13 years ago, this time I had to study while carrying on a full-time I practice, serving as a director of several charities, building a house out-of-state and raising my children. Needless to say, I would not have been able to move to Florida and drop all of my responsibilities while I studied for the Florida Bar for two months.

Instead, with your help, I was able to spread my studying over a 13-month period -- studying more during slack periods of my life and virtually ignoring my studying during more hectic times. Studying was done in whatever state (or means of transportation) I happened to be in at any given time. I appreciated your focusing my time on the big picture -- know what you need to know to assured of passing the Bar.

Well, I'm pleased to say I passed the Bar, my marriage is intact, the charities are solvent, house is beautiful and my kids are all healthy and happy.

Thanks again.

Sincerely,

Thomas C. Lee, Jr.

Dear Jackson,

Just a quick note to thank you for your help in getting me through the Florida Bar exam the FIRST time! As you may recall, I have been out of law school for over 18 years and have not been active in the practice for over 10 years. Needless to say, selecting the right bar review course was critical for me. I investigated a couple of other courses before I decided to enroll with you. Clearly, I made the right choice!

Your course provided me with a valuable mix of books, audio tapes, practice exams and personal counseling which enabled me to work at my own pace and convenience at home, commuting to work, even while working out! It may seem a bit odd, but I actually enjoyed listening to many of the audio lectures. Your course was extremely accurate. All I had to do was add all the hard work!

Jackson, I really put myself in your hands to get me through this exam and you came through for me. I sincerely appreciate the personal interest you took in my success. Anyone who is serious about passing the bar exam the first time would be wise to take your course.

Thank you for your help!

Sincerely,

Charles H. McClenaghan

Dear Jackson,

I wanted to drop you a short note again to thank you for the excellent job in preparing me for the Florida Bar Exam. For the record, I scored a 149 on Part A and a 138 on Part B of the exam. Needless to say, I was somewhat surprised and pleased at my score on Part A. Your mentorship for the essay portion of the exam paid off handsomely!

…Please feel free to use this letter if you so desire. I must tell you that I did a great deal of research in the bar review area especially since I have been out of the bar review scene for over 10 years, and the fact that I have two small kids to raise at the same time. Going to class was out of the question. Without a doubt, it is my belief that the course offered by you for the Florida Bar Exam was the best option for me. I found the lectures very interesting and easy to follow. I was able to start early and study at my own pace which I could not have done with any other course.

Finally, your mentorship really made a big difference for me on the essay portion of the exam. It has been over 15 years since I graduated from law school and over 10 years since I last sat for a bar exam, and as you know, I struggled to get back into writing essays the bar exam way. Your assistance was invaluable on this portion of the exam, and I do not think I would have received that kind of attention at barbri or elsewhere. I can personally attest that your course is money well spent.

Thank you.

Dear Jackson:

The material you provided was exactly what was needed. You should know that a number of the questions were virtually carbon copies of your own sample questions.

As for the Tampa exam, as I have told you, the course was incredible. You may recall that I initially was most concerned about managing work, family and study. You focused my attention based on my own strengths and weaknesses as revealed by my essays and questions which you reviewed with me. This saved me many hours. Your e-mail system was excellent, a fast and efficient exchange of information. The fact that you kept your group small, perhaps 40 students, was a big factor. I am sure your other students felt the confidence that you were an available resource most of the day. The lectures and lecturers were all very good. Their individual expertise and experience made for some excellent hypotheticals. The sample exams were very useful. By test day, I had already sat for two full practice exams, answered hundreds of questions and written dozens of essays. Even your introductory tape regarding the test room conditions in Tampa was right on the money. (Yes, there was construction going on outside the hall and it seemed like the air conditioning was on 'extra-noisy'). Of course, none of that mattered if you were ready and focused. Still, what I appreciate most was your continued support, such as the daily e-mail in the last month, a comforting reminder as the stress increased.

I will certainly recommend the course and do want to pass by Celebration one day to meet you. Thank you again.

Dear Jackson:

Thank you very much for your assistance in preparing me for the February 1998 Florida Bar Examination and the Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination. The Celebration Bar Exam Review materials were absolutely superb. The syllabus, written materials, audio tapes, and practice examinations allowed me to complete the review course at my own pace, whenever I had a break in a very busy business schedule. I was able to listen to the audiotapes while commuting to and from work, while traveling to appointments, during lunch, and at home. Your course afforded me the flexibility I needed to cover the required material despite a hectic schedule.

I graduated from law school and passed the Massachusetts Bar Examination over 18 years ago and I needed a comprehensive, effective review course to prepare for the Florida Bar Examination. The Bar Review course provided everything I needed.

Again, I sincerely appreciate your assistance, and would most highly recommend your course to others preparing for the examination.
